Swedish funds acquire high quality Tuscan wine

Swedish finance tastes Tuscan wines. The Exoro Capital investment fund has aannounced the 100% purchase of Tenute MonteRosola, a wine-making company in Volterra (in the Pisa province) known for producing some of the area’s most prestigious labels.

Biophotonics, the European call for proposals: €9 million of investment

The updating of Tuscan industry even involves the field of Biophotonics. Thanks to the BiophotonicsPlus European call for proposals, implemented with a tender process by Regione Toscana – Tuscany’s regional government – Tuscan enterprises and research bodies will be able to run innovative projects in the fields of medical diagnostics, pharmacology, laser surgery, cancer treatment, blood vessel haemostasis and ophthalmology, in partnership with other European countries.

Direct investments in Italy return to positive

The first signs of recovery of the Italian economy: an increased optimism on behalf of businesses on investment condition, a contraction of the Gross Domestic Product that is almost exhausted and a return to the positive for direct investments from abroad.

Logistics returns to the Stock Exchange with Savino Del Bene

Tuscan logistics is being showcased on Piazza Affari. One of the principal national operators for international shipments via sea or air, Savino Del Bene, is ready to be quoted on Milan’s stock exchange, perhaps as early as the end of 2013.

Real estate: Italy attracts foreign investors

Between January and the beginning of October, foreign investment in real estate totalled 2.75 billion euros: the highest amount since 2007 (according to data provided by Real Capital Analytics) – Giants such as Morgan Stanley and Allianz have got the ball rolling as they start to invest in Italy once more.
