Leading the delegation, Regional Councillor for Economy and Tourism Leonardo Marras emphasized Tuscany’s commitment to engaging with global markets—particularly Asia and Japan—and showcasing the region’s multifaceted excellence, from design and healthcare to tourism and advanced manufacturing.

A highlight of the week was the event “Tuscany: Invest in the Land of Genius”, held on July 14 at the Italy Pavilion Auditorium. The program brought together institutional voices and industry leaders to discuss Tuscany’s strategic approach to foreign direct investment.

- Opening greetings from Mario Vattani, Commissioner General for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka
- Remarks from Giovanni Savini, Director at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, outlining national strategies for supporting international investment
- A presentation by Marco Perrone, Executive Manager at Invest in Tuscany, highlighting the region’s localization offer and investor support services
- Case studies from Japanese companies investing in Tuscany:
- Yanmar Holdings, which opened its first European R&D Center in Florence, focusing on energy and robotics
