On 31 January 2025, the historic Palazzo Borghese in Florence will host the Invest in Tuscany Annual Meeting and the Community Toscana Final Forum. This key event brings together experts, institutional representatives, and industry leaders to discuss the economic future of Tuscany, covering topics such as investment attraction, energy transition, and labor market evolution.

The event will be moderated by Silvia Sgaravatti, journalist and TV host for Class CNBC.

Event Program

The event will host a remarkable group of speakers from various sectors, each contributing their expertise and insights.

Among them are Riccardo Crescenzi, Professor of Economic Geography at the London School of Economics and Political Science; Alessandro Faramondi, Head of Structural Statistics on Businesses, Public Institutions, and Non-Profits at ISTAT; Filippo Giabbani, Head of International Activities and Investment Attraction for the Tuscany Region; and Francesca Giovani, Director of Education, Training, Research, and Employment for the Tuscany Region. 

Giorgio Graditi, General Director of ENEA – the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy, and Sustainable Economic Development, and Georges Madessis, Country Manager Italy at INEOS Inovyn, will also be among the esteemed participants.

Joining them are Niccolò Moschini, Corporate Communications and Institutional Relations Director Italy at Kering; Paolo Noccioni, President of Baker Hughes – Nuovo Pignone; and Alessandra Petrucci, Rector and Professor of Social Statistics at the University of Florence. 

Laura Resmini, Associate Professor of Economic Policy and Deputy Director at the University of Milano-Bicocca, and Paolo Ruggeri, Coordinator of the Multinational Commission at Confindustria Tuscany, will also bring their perspectives. 

Representing institutional bodies are Annalisa Sassi, President of the Regional Representations Council at Confindustria; Paolo Tedeschi, Director of Territorial Competitiveness and Managing Authority for the Tuscany Region; and David Tei, Head of Ecological Transition and Environmental Sustainability for the Tuscany Region. The lineup is completed by Pio Parma, Senior Consultant in Scenarios and Intelligence at TEHA Group.

The event will also feature the participation of prominent institutional figures, including Eugenio Giani, President of the Tuscany Region; Leonardo Marras, Regional Councillor for Economy, Productive Activities, Credit Policies, and Tourism; and Antonio Mazzeo, President of the Regional Council of Tuscany.
