Tuscany is taking part at Expo Real 2021 with a multi-sector offering that responds to the main trends recently expressed by the international real estate market.
The numerous projects presented to the international investors present include the Centro Urbano Richard Rogers in Scandicci, a project for a multi-purpose urban space just a few minutes by Metro from the centre of Florence and, in turn, a focal point for the most important multinational companies in the luxury sector that have opened new leather industries and expanded existing plants in recent years.
The city of Florence confirms its role as an extremely attractive destination on an international level and presents a wide range of opportunities in the Hospitality and Student Housing Sector. Particular focus on the Lupi Barracks (Caserma Lupi) belonging to the Municipality of Florence, a strategic space in the city that is the subject of a significant urban regeneration project, and which promises excellent opportunities for investment in the commercial and residential sectors.
Another valid opportunity for income, again in Florence, is represented by the four real-estate properties belonging to Ataf S.p.A., the Transportation Agency for the Florence Area, namely: Michelacci, Pratese, XI Agosto and Mille. Located in various areas of the city, the open-air equipped areas are dedicated to parking, maintenance, refuelling and washing of city public transport vehicles, while the constructed areas are dedicated to offices, workshops, warehousing and systems.
For the area surrounding Florence, there is focus on interesting opportunities for the hotel industry, for example Villa Filicaia, a historic building with a large garden and Nymphaeum located at the foot of the Prato hills, in a panoramic position that, thanks to these characteristics, is an ideal asset for tourist accommodation of prestige and charm.
For the Medical sector, one of the proposals in Tuscany is the Sant’Antonino Hospital, a publicly owned property close to the historical centre of Fiesole with a panoramic view over Florence and the surrounding countryside.
The Industrial – Logistics sector is supported in Tuscany by areas in the Tuscan Amerigo Vespucci Inter-modal Goods Centre, a strategic infrastructure system for freight, with a 130,000 square metre train terminal, in the vicinity of the port of Livorno, a historical Mediterranean freight port.
