Fendi, the renowned fashion brand, is returning to Tuscany by establishing a fresh logistics centre in Serravalle Pistoiese. This move follows the inauguration of a manufacturing facility in Bagno a Ripoli (Florence) and underscores Fendi’s commitment to the Region.

The logistics hub in Serravalle Pistoiese is expected to occupy approximately 200 employees once it reaches total operational capacity. President of the Region, Eugenio Giani, expressed his satisfaction with the situation and noted the approval of a memorandum of understanding that outlines the terms of collaboration between the Region, the Municipality, and Fendi.

The investment agreement emphasises the commitment to furnishing Fendi with the necessary administrative and infrastructural support, anticipating a positive impact on the region’s growth. The protocol proposal, originating from the President’s initiative, was crafted in collaboration with the Invest in Tuscany office and included contributions from the offices of the Municipality of Serravalle Pistoiese and Fendi.

Back in 2019, Fendi chose Tuscany as the site for a new production and development centre, alongside a material research and training facility for young craftsmen in Bagno a Ripoli. This endeavour was accompanied by the establishment of a dedicated leather school aimed at nurturing specialised personnel.
