In Massa Sanlorenzo Spa has purchased, in 2021, a space of about 15 thousand square meters by investing about 6 million euros. The production will start by the end of March 2022 and will give a big boost to the growth of the yacht division for the coming years. About 200 people will work in the Massa shipyard by the end of 2022.

The numbers
Revenues of 585.9 million euros for 2021, up 28% from the previous year. The yacht division generated net revenues of 362.8 million euros, up 23.9% on the previous year. On superyachts, net revenues are up 31.8% driven by the “Steel” line, the largest size range.
Investments amount to 49.2 million euros, up 59.7% compared to 30.8 million euros in 2020, of which almost 27 million euros are earmarked for increasing production capacity and 17.5 million euros for developing new products and introducing innovations and technologies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of yachts.
Three acquisitions of industrial infrastructure adjacent to the company’s shipyards in Viareggio, Massa and La Spezia were completed during the third quarter of 2021 for a total amount of 19.2 million euros, which will result in a significant increase in production capacity in response to accelerating sales.
