Diese Hauptfaktoren machen die Toskana zu einer idealen Region, in der man investieren und Unternehmen im Hinblick auf die Industrie 4.0 ansiedeln kann.
\nF\u00fcr die Toskana, wie auch f\u00fcr ganz Italien, stellen Mechanik und Maschinenbau einen Sektor h\u00f6chster Bedeutung dar, und daf\u00fcr gibt es zwei Hauptgr\u00fcnde. Erstens war der Maschinenbau im Gegensatz zur traditionellen Fertigung, aus der er gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils hervorgegangen ist, nicht den negativen Auswirkungen der Globalisierungsprozesse ausgesetzt, bei dem der lokale und nationale Markt durch internationale Kunden ersetzt wurde. Zweitens ist der Maschinenbau offener f\u00fcr technologische Innovationen als andere Sektoren und zeigt Aufw\u00e4rtstrends bei Produktivit\u00e4t und Export. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wirken sich seine St\u00e4rke und sein Wachstum m\u00f6glicherweise positiv auf die anderen Produktionsketten aus, mit denen diese Branche verbunden ist. Heute steht der regionale Maschinenbau landesweit betrachtet an f\u00fcnfter Stelle, nicht nur was die Zahl der aktiven Unternehmen sondern auch die Zahl der Besch\u00e4ftigten betrifft, und die f\u00fcnf gr\u00f6\u00dften italienischen Regionen teilen sich etwa 80 % des nationalen Maschinenbau-Sektors.<\/p>\n

Die italienische Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Robotik ist auf dem neuesten Stand, und auch die Robotik- und Automatisierungsindustrie geh\u00f6rt sowohl bei der Herstellung von Robotern und automatisierten Maschinen als auch bei deren Einsatz zur Weltspitze. Die Toskana im Allgemeinen und Pisa im Besonderen sind Kompetenzzentren f\u00fcr Robotik.<\/p>\n

Seit Anfang der 1980er Jahre verf\u00fcgt die Region \u00fcber ein aktives System der Robotikforschung, das sich durch enge interdisziplin\u00e4re Verbindungen auszeichnet und heute international einen hervorragenden Ruf genie\u00dft. Unter den Regionen Italiens liegt die Toskana au\u00dferdem auf dem dritten Platz in Bezug auf die Anzahl der Unternehmen im Robotiksektor. Im Rahmen von Forschungsanwendungen ist Pisa internationaler Vorreiter in diesem Sektor und gilt heute als die Stadt der Technologien.<\/p>\n
