Cadenzano (nr. Florence): The New Centre For Industrial Prototypes Will Open Soon

On May 9, a centre where local companies will be able to use the most modern and advanced machines to create models and prototypes will open.

Everything is ready for the Centre for Technological Innovation based in Calenzano (near Florence) where local companies will be able to use the most modern and advanced machines to create models and prototypes as well as test and evaluate their products. The official opening will take place on Friday, 9 May with the institutions and companies that have supported the centre in attendance.

This lab is based in via Vittorio Emanuele 32 at the CAD (Centre for Art and Design) and will be managed by ProMoDesign, a consortium set up on 24 July 2007 by the Municipality of Calenzano, the Degree Course in Industrial Design, Cna Tuscany Prato & Florence, San Miniato Savings Bank, and two businesses: Progecta Srl and Targetti Sankey Spa.

The ribbon will be cut in the morning and the centre will be open to visitors on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
