Eutelia ends 2006 with a large profit

22/03/07- Following a €22.425 million loss in 2006, Eutelia, the telecom operator based in Arezzo (Italy), ends 2006 with a €337,000 profit.

The company announced the results in a communiqué released at the weekend. The communiqué underlined the fact that the 2005 figures used for the comparison are pro forma because on 30th June 2005, Eutelia had concluded a 12-month financial year whereas on 31st December 2005, it had concluded a 6-month period.

In spite of a 7% reduction in turnover to €415.226 million for the period, gross operating margin increased by 24% to 50.68 million and the EBIT recovered (€469,000) following an operating loss amounting to €21.746 million.
