The supply of qualified human resources is one of the main advantages offered to those intending to invest in Tuscany.
The quality of scientific education of Tuscany's young graduates significantly adds to the already professional and strongly skilled resources that the system on a whole offers.

Each year in Tuscany around 27,500 secondary school students succeed in gaining their high school diploma.

In 2007 almost 9,000 students graduated in scientific and technical fields from Tuscany's three universities (Florence, Pisa and Siena).
An inquiry carried out among sector businesses confirmed that the supply of graduates in the technical-scientific field is considered adequate and the level of preparation high. Among other favorable factors were the competitive cost and the flexibility in their hiring. The quality of the university graduates is also associated with the wide range of professional specializations tied to Master and ongoing educational courses.
