Grosseto
Why invest in Grosseto? There are many reasons why Grosseto is an interesting area for Foreign Direct Investments. Firstly, this city has had a peculiar type of development compared to the rest of the Region. Such peculiar development has enabled the Province to keep its natural features almost intact without being tarnished and congested by dwellings and industrial settlements. Today, this offers the opportunity to structure new investment projects without having to redevelop old sites. Secondly, the political and social environment in Grosseto is particularly well disposed towards Foreign Direct Investments. This type of investments are highly encouraged by the local institutions which, in order to promote the attractiveness of the province, have launched vast medium-term investment projects in infrastructures which will increase the value of the area. It’s also worth mentioning that there are remarkable local and European financing opportunities which enable to lower the total value of initial investments and, therefore increase returns. It’s important to note that the sectors in the area of Grosseto which is believed to have the greatest potential for development are those for which market growth is foreseen, that is to say: quality tourism, shipbuilding and quality foodstuffs and produce.
